Roy Earl Coop was an employee of the Oregon City Garbage Co. Mr. Coop died Saturday as the result of an accident while at work. Born July 22, 1915 at Redland, he lived at 408 Lawton Rd., Oregon City. He had also been employed by the Molalla Garbage Co. and was a member of the Sanitary Truck Drivers Local 220 and the Oregon City Elks Lodge.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Pearl Coop; three brothers, Wilfred, Canby; Elbert, Oregon City; Orville, Maline, OR; four sisters, Gladys Saum, Burns; Pansy Bullard, Hazel Sajovic, and Frieda Felix, all of Oregon City.

Services for Roy, a lifetime resident of this area, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Holman-Hankins Chapel, with the Rev. Leo Epperson officiating. Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery.
