Daughter of Matthias and Nancy Elmore who moved to Lafayette County, Mississippi by 1846 when Matthias' name appears on the cash ledger at the Tyro Store. Eady never married, but had a daughter, Ella, born in September, 1866. The situation which produced the pregnancy is unknown. She lived with her brother, George Thomas Elmore, during the time of the 1870 census. After her daughter Ella grew up, married, and was subsequently widowed, Eady made her home with her daughter and helped rear Ella's seven children. She is buried next to her daughter Ella and son-in-law, George C. Harmon.
