Mrs. John R. Hoag, 38. a former Norwalk resident, and very well known in that city, passed away Friday morning, at her home in New London. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T E. Wilson, of Norwalk, her maiden name being Edith Maud Wilson, and she was a graduate of Norwalk high school, in 1911. On Nov. 9th, a baby girl, named Edith Joanne, was born. The decedent is survived by her husband, the daughter, the parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Wilson, and these four sisters, and three brothers: Mrs. Gertrude Wilson, and Mrs. Rose Rohrbacher. both of Norwalk, Mrs. Frances Clark, of Cleveland. Mrs. Lucille Conner, of Burksville, Va., Herbert A. Wilson, Norwalk, John T. Wilson, of Strongsville, and Robert H. Wilson, of Kensington, Pa. Mrs. Hoag has been a resident of New London for nine years, and had a large circle of friends. She was a member of the Norwalk M. E. church. The Fitch Funeral Home of New London, had charge of a short prayer service, followed by the church services at the Norwalk M. E. church, with the Rev. C. P. Barnes officiating. Interment was made in Woodlawn cemetery, of Norwalk.
