Anna Rainey Adams, 88, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Monday, October 12, 2009, at the Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan. Mrs. Adams was born August 9, 1921, at Dalton, Arkansas, to the late Edward and Mary Lee (Murray) Adams. She was retired from McDonald Aircraft where she worked in the cafeteria. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Oak Grove Church of God.
She was married to James Edwards Adams on December 20, 1941, in Doniphan and he preceded her in death.

Mrs. Adams was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, James Bryant Adams, and two brothers, William Allen and Lawrence Allen.

Surviving are one son, Jerry Edward Adams; three brothers, Charles Allen, George Allen and James Allen; and three sisters, Etta Rainbolt, Bertha Friar and Grace Headly.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
