Johnna Ida Pardue, 48, of Providence Forge, Va., passed away Saturday, November 28, 2009. She was born in Hampton and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University. Johnna was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and a passionate and kind-hearted math teacher at New Kent High School. She was a strong-willed friend who will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine N. Pardue. Johnna is survived by her two daughters, Heather Anderson and Heidi McDowell; her father, Richard A. Pardue and Miss Terry Kelly; nine sisters, Terri and John Kanyuck, Donna Connell, Tracy Naeger, Amy and Gary Holley, Sunny and Paul Ashburn, Toni and Barry Childress, Crystal and Derek Fenn, Jamie and Chad Green, Nickie and Hugh Clark; her lifelong best friend, David Dudley; four grandchildren; 24 nieces and nephews; and 14 great-nieces and nephews.
She was a very dedicated educator. I am a former student and I can say that I learned alot and still use it today. So I can say, Ms. P. you did your job!
