Kenneth Ray peacefully went to be with the Lord on, Sunday, May 6, 2012 at the age of 51. He was born on November 12, 1960 to Mr. and Mrs. James and Erma Adams in Corpus Christi, Texas at Spohn Hospital.

Kenneth worked for the City of Corpus Christi Waste Water Dept., until his health failed him. He gave his life to Christ at the early age of 12 years old and was baptized at Calvary First Baptist Church by the late Rev. H.C. Dilworth. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He was a joy to everyone that knew him.

He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

He leaves to cherish his memories, wife Sharron Adams, children Jennifer Shaunte Adams, Ray Anthony Adams, and Shedrick Smith. Parents Mr. and Mrs. James and Erma Adams and sister Kathy Lynn Canada all of Corpus Christi, Texas. Uncles Edward Wright of Schulenburg, Texas, Martin Adams of Corpus Christi, Texas., Lavester Adams of Houston, Texas. And Lavonne Adams of Nacogdoches, Texas. Aunts Robbie Bryant of San Antonio, Texas, Barbara Curl of Houston, Texas and Margie Chumbley of Nacogdoches, Texas. Only niece Kelly Lynn Callandret of Schulenburg, Texas; Special cousin Kerry Chumbley of Nacogdoches, Texas. Special cousins like sisters Lisa Allen of Corpus Christi, Texas, Karen Harris of Akron, Ohio and Cheryl Knockless of Austin, Texas, Special cousin Ronald Ray Allen of Corpus Christ, Texas. Special cousins Barbara Patterson of Schulenburg and Gayle Ray West of Corpus Christi, Texas. Special friend Bonnie Franco of Corpus Christi, Texas and five grandchildren all of Corpus Christi, Texas, Ambrea Shante Hall, Aaliyah Adams, Elroy Bates, Ebony Martinez, Eliyah Castro-Smith.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. A Funeral Service was held on Monday, May 14, 2012 at Calvary First Baptist Church. Interment followed at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
