Virginia Ann Anderson, age 57, of Springdale, died at her home in Springdale, on Jan. 1, 2012. She was born Aug. 23, 1954 in Berryville, AR, the daughter of Roy and Irene Tice Sims.

She attended Brush Creek Baptist Church and graduated from Springdale High School in 1973. She had worked as a custodian for Springdale School System. She was preceded by two brothers: Carroll Steven Sims and Lee Roy Sims; and two sisters: Margie Eagle and Louella Reedy.

Ms. Anderson is survived by one son, Cody Anderson and Michelle, of Springdale; one daughter, Laura Paragioudakis and John of Springdale; one brother, James Sims of Jay Oklahoma; one sister, Doris Barnard of Highfill; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Brother Don Warford officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.memfuneral.com.
