Charlotte Mae (Wells) Bailey, 95, died on Sep. 14, 2008 at Clark's Residential Care, Hyde Park, Vermont. Her husband, Arthur, predeceased her on May 30, 1981.
Charlotte was the seventh of nine children of Albert Leroy and Bertha Belle (Allen) Wells. She was the sister of Allen, Lillian J., Kenneth L., Beatrice Ruth, Ellen M., Harold M., Ada T., and Loren Nelson Wells.
She married Arthur Alden Bailey on September 23, 1928 in Craftsbury, Vermont. They were the parents of ten children: Vivian Berdina; Morton Keith; Garth Lee; Duane Wesley; Carole Fern; Bertha Alice; Brian Alden; and three who predeceased her, an infant daughter, Joyce Barbara Bailey; a young son, Arthur Alden Bailey, Jr.; and daughter, Lois Germaine (Bailey) Tallman.
