27, Ft. Lewis, Wash., died
Wednesday when the
helicopter he was piloting
crashed while on Army field
maneuvers near Yakima,
Wash. His wife, the former
Delores Jean Smith, formerly
resided at Rt. 3, Nekoosa
before the couple married in
1971.
Services will be at 4:30 p.m.
Saturday at Sacred Heart
Catholic Church, Nekoosa, the
Rev. Charles Hiebl of-
ficiating, with burial, military
honors accorded, in Village of
Port Edwards Cemetery.
Mr. Agne was born June 10,
1949 in Wauwatosa, the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon R. Agne,
and married Delores Jean
Smith on June 26, 1971, in
Nekoosa. He was a 1971
graduate of the University of
Wisconsin-Stevens Point,
where he majored in forestry
and took part in R.O.T.C. He
entered the Army in 1972 and
was a graduate of the Army
Flight School at Ft. Rucker,
Ala. He spent 13 months
overseas in Korea...
