STONEVILLE - Mrs. Kate Joyce Alley, 92, of 284 Chapel Road died Monday, June 27, 1994, at Morehead Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Ray Funeral Home Chapel in Madison. Entombment will be in the Joyce Family Cemetery in Stoneville.
Mrs. Alley was a lifelong resident of Rockingham County, a member of the Ayersville Extention Homemakers Club, the Joyce Presbyterian Church, and had taught quilting at Rockingham Community College and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Ellington Alley and granddaughter, Judy Vaughn O'Bryan. She is survived by her daughters Sue Johnson, Claucey Vaughn and Pauline Burke, and son Kenneth Alley; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
