Marsha A. Pebley Adams, 67, entered heaven on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, in Houston, Texas. She was born July 24, 1944, in Omaha, Nebraska. Marsha and her parents moved to Victorville in 1948. She attended local schools and graduated from Victor Valley High School in 1962. After high school, she became a beautician and lived in the West Covina area, where she eventually met her husband, Frank. They were married on Valentine's Day in 1970. In July of 1971, a son, Scott, was born to Marsha and Frank. Due to her battle with kidney failure, she was unable to have additional children. As a family, they originally lived in Hesperia. In 1977, they had a house built in Victorville, where they remained. In 1989, her husband, Frank, passed away due to heart failure.
Marsha was a member of the Victorville Nazarene Church for many years and then in 1995 became a member at High Desert Church. Marsha enjoyed spending time with her many friends and loved ones, playing cards and other games, cooking, sewing, painting and other crafts. In the last few months, Marsha was able to reconnect with an old high school friend. She was able to travel and enjoy the remainder of her life, with future plans of marriage.
Marsha is survived by her son, Scott Adams, and his wife, Dena, and grandchildren, Danielle, Jacob and Kylie Adams, all of Victorville; her mother, Zula Mae Pebley, of Victorville; her sister, Cherie Woods, and her husband, Daniel, of Apple Valley; and her fiancé, Jimmie Brown. Marsha was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Adams, and her father, Thomas Pebley.
