Louise was born August 8, 1939 in Mt. Enterprise, the seventh of twelve children to John Wesley and Jeannette Gaston Moore. She passed away in her sleep on May 4, 2011 after a brave fight with lung cancer. She was 71.

Louise was a nurse for over 44 years, working in various hospitals, clinics and agencies with her favorite being home health care as a visiting nurse. After retiring, she lived with her daughter to be nearer to her young grandsons. She was an accomplished seamstress who proudly sold her work via her online business. She was an avid reader, worker of word search and crossword puzzles and loved to deer hunt, go fishing, work in the garden and spend time with her grandsons.

Louise was a special Auntie and the best MawMaw ever. She will be greatly missed for her strength, courage, love and compassion for others. God bless you on your wonderful journey, free of illness and pain. Thank you for so many things. We will joyfully see you again someday in heaven.
