Thomas W. Alley of 624 Ninth Street, Bellwood, died at the Altoona Hospital at 1:12 p.m. Friday, September 18, 1953, after a week of serious illness. He was born November 18, 1871, at Spruce Creek, a son of William and Emily (Edminston) Alley, both deceased. His wife, Annie (Bonsell) Alley, died Nov. 29, 1950. He leaves a son, George H., of Bellwood, one brother, Samuel, of Spruce Creek, a sister, Mrs. Rosa Stiver of Bellwood, 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Methodist Church, Bellwood. Friends will be received at the Fuoss Mortuary, Bellwood, after 2 p.m., Sunday.
