"Mrs. Elizabeth K. Acklin, for over fifty years a resident of Tyrone, died at her home, 1061 Lincoln avenue, last night at 11:30 o'clock following an extended illness from complications. She was born at Brownsville, Pa., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erasmus Kaiser. She married Frank W. Acklin at Brownsville, who died August 11, 1945. She is survived by a brother, Illiam Kaiser, Miami, Florida, and a niece, Mrs. G. G. Belcome (?), Hanover, Pa.
Mrs. Acklin was a member of the First Presbyterian church, the Young Ladies Aid society, the Moore Mission Circle, the Order of the Eastern Star, Jobel COurt Ladies Oriental Shrine and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights Templar.
Funeral services will be held at the home on Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock conducted by Dr. Robert L. Hutchinson. Interment will be made in Eastlawn cemetery. Friends will be received at the home after noon tomorrow."
