El Dorado, Kan. — Donna Marie Austin, 63, of El Dorado, died Friday, Jan. 22, 2010 at her home. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
She was born on Dec. 6, 1946, in El Dorado, the daughter of Billy E. and Goldie Marie (Fry) Neer. Donna spent her entire life in El Dorado and worked for Kansas Aluminum for 30 years and was a department head at the time of her retirement. She graduated from El Dorado High School and loved to crochet, garden and was a very good grandmother.
On Dec. 27, 1985 she was married to Jim Austin in Miami, Okla.
Those who survive including her husband of the home are: a son, Jr. Montgomery and wife Debra of El Dorado; step-children, Vickie Urban and husband Mike, Jeff Austin, Carmodee Austin, Camielle Austin, Vanessa Gilge and husband Eric, and Jimelle Austin; her mother, Marie Neer;sister, Linda Baker; grandchildren, Dustin Montgomery, Corey Montgomery, Ashley Montgomery, Anne Montgomery, Ben Urban, Abigail Urban, Sam Urban, Brielle Urban, Adia Austin, Lucas Austin, Elliot Adams, Alexander Gilge, Brielle Farlow and Tommy Little; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Edwin Neer; son, William Michale (Mike) Montgomery; brother, Chuck Fry; and grandson, Dalton Ray Farlow.
