AUTHER ADCOCK: BRIDGEPORT: Auther Gary "Horsetrader" Adcock,67, passed away, Thursday, January 29, 2009 in a Chattanooga hospital.

Auther was a retired U. S. Air Force Master Sergeant who served his county for 21 years. He was also a retired truck driver and a true family man.

He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Gail Adcock, parents, Grady Earl and Verla Jackson Adcock, brothers, John Raybon and Coy Dale Adcock and grandson, Bosten Adcock.

He is survived by his sons, Ronald Dean (Mary Leisha) Adcock, South Pittsburg, Donald Eugene (Pearl) Adcock and Carl Timothy Adcock, both of Bridgeport; daughter, Connie Gail (David) Parker, Bridgeport; brother, Michael Adcock; sisters, Wanda Sullivan, Peggy Laws, Joan Kirkham, Diane Arnold; grandchildren, Emily, Thomas, Austin, Decota and Madison Adcock, Trisha Parker, Pearl Ann and Sam Sisk.

Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CST, Sunday, February 1, 2009 with Bro. Danny Rader officiating.

Interment with military honors will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jessie Eldridge, Jamie Eldridge, Michael Adcock, Kip Adcock, Gary Guess, and Mark Arnold.
