Mrs. Rozella Berry was the mother of Walter (Mr. T. W.) Berry. She was born about May 1814 in Ohio, and died at her son's residence in Tomichi, CO, aged 76 years, 8 months, and 20 days, "of general failure from old age".
The funeral was held from the residence of her son, and the remains were interred in the Tomichi cemetery. All of the neighbors and many citizens of White Pine attended the services.
The following was published in the White Pine Cone newspaper:

Ed. CONE: We wish through the columns of your paper to thank the people of Tomichi and White Pine for their kindness to us in our bereavement over the loss of our dear Mother.
