PFC Michael Aaron Scott, USMC, 22 of Mulberry, died Monday, November 3, 2008 in Pensacola, Florida due to a motorcycle accident.
He was born February 27, 1986 in Lakeland to Thomas D. and Susan (Harrison) Scott. Michael is a 2004 graduate of Lakeland High School and a United States Marine Corp veteran.
He is survived by his mother, Susan (Mel) Lawson of Mulberry; his father, Tom (Carol) Scott of Lakeland; his son, Cale M. Scott of Riverview; maternal grandparents, George and Alma Long of Omer, MI; paternal grandparents, Duane and Mary Lou Scott of Roscommon, MI; brothers, Tom (Kristi) Scott, II and Kevin Scott all of Lakeland; a step-brother, Nathan (Amy) Browning of Torrington, CT; a sister, Lori (John) Bohde of Mulberry and two step-sisters, Natalie Browning of Lakeland and Krista (Derrick) Wilkerson of Sylvester, GA.
Friends will be received from 3-5pm Sunday at the Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes, Southside Chapel where funeral services will be held 10am Monday. Interment will take place 1pm Monday at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell with full military honors.
