Dearest friend to my Mother. Ruthie was like a Grandma to my Sister and I. Although we were not related, Ruthie and Mom did work together at Illinois Bell Telephone Company. When Ruthie passed, Illinois Bell presented a Family Bible to my Mother.
Ruthie left a sister named Florence, two nephews and a wide circle of friends who loved her greatly.
Ruthie never married; and, had no children.
After Ruthie retired from Illinois Bell, she spent much time traveling around the world.
Ruthie was Catholic and attended St. Agnes Church on Chicago's South Side.
