Clarence Elbert Bingham, 86, of Orem, died August 9, 1991, at his home of natural causes.

He was born February 19, 1905, a son of Robert and Nancy Mirinda Tracy Bingham in Wilson Lane, Utah.

He married Arvilla Margaret Charlton, November 26, 1930, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died July 17, 1991.

He grew up in Wilson Lane, Utah. He lived several years in Clinton, Utah. He moved to Great Falls, Montana in 1948 until moving to Orem in 1974. He was a farmer in Montana. He was employed at Annaconda Copper Mining Co.

He was an active member of the LDS Church throughout his life. He served in the bishopric and in Sunday School. He was a temple ordinance worker for several years, and was a stake patricarch for many years. He loved the gospel and his family.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters, LaMonte Bingham, of Helena, Montana; Ray Bingham of Madesto, Calif.; Roger Bingham of Orem; Coleen Standing of Fresno, Calif.; Joanne Westover of Orem. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one sister, Virginia Froggert of California.

He was preceeded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 13, 1991, at 11 a.m. in the Orem 11st Ward Chapel, 180 East 100 South, Orem. Friends may call Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sundbert-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Orem and also Tuesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the ward chapel.

Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
