He is survived by his wife, Paula S. Barnes; daughters, Alison Stinnett and husband David, Ashley Barnes, and Amelia Barnes; grandchildren, Sophie and John Mitchell; sister, Debbie Feldser and husband Mike; and his mother, Lucille Barnes. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert H. Barnes.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel, in Katy, with Rev. Kimberly Meyers officiating.
