Bobby Jo (nee Heilig) Bauer, age 76, of Independence, KY passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, traveling and attending church. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her family and friends.
Bobby Jo is survived by her loving sons, Dale (Gail) Bauer, Danny Bauer and Dennis (Jenny) Bauer; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Bauer; son, Troy Bauer and great-grandson, Chace Claxton.
A visitation for Bobby Jo will take place on Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 3PM until the time of the funeral service at 5PM at Community Family Church, 11875 Taylor Mill Rd., Independence, KY 51051.
