Obituary for Neva Alexander
Mrs. Neva Roberts Alexander left this world on Sunday, November 5, 2017 to be with her Lord and Savior.
She was a resident for many years at Lakeview Nursing Center in Gulfport, MS. She was a member of Big Level Baptist Church in Wiggins, MS. She was born and raised in Groves, TX and she and her husband, Norris Alexander raised three children, Gay, Molly and Patrick. When her husband, Norris, retired from Gulf Oil Refinery in Texas, they moved back to his hometown of Wiggins and settled down in the Big Level Community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Alexander, her son, Patrick Alexander, her parents, Royal and Beaulah Roberts and her sister, Ruby Joe McLeroy.
She is survived by two daughters, Gay (Mike) Lott of Wiggins and Molly (Ken) Truesdale of Brooklyn, CT, four grandchildren, Brandy Lott Riley, Jason Truesdale, Kyle Truesdale and Chelsey Truesdale Fisher, six great-grandchildren, Brianna Riley, Kris Riley, Brooke Truesdale, Alaina Truesdale, Vivien Fisher and Tavin Fisher and numerous nieces and nephews in Texas and Mississippi.
The family would like to send a special thanks to Hospice Kare at Home and Lakeview Nursing Home for the care they gave to her over the years.
Services will be at 11:00am Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins with visitation from 10:30am to service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow at New Zion Church Cemetery in Wiggins.
