James C. Morgan of Mesquite passed away at his residence Thursday, October 16, 2003. He was born on January 3, 1928 to the late Douglas and Velma Watson Morgan in Decatur, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lillian Joyce Morgan. James survived by his son, Paul Morgan and wife Catherine; daughters, Patty Sue Baker and Carolyn Rogers and her husband Bobby; grandchildren, David Lee Hodges and his wife Jackie, Bobby James Rogers; Tina Halmark and her husband Clay, Tim Meadows; great-grandchildren, Zachary Halmark, Miranda Storrs, Dustin Meadows, Courtney Rogers, Brennan Rogers, Maci Jolee Hodges, Baileigh Dawne Rogers,Zoe Rogers(born after his death); brothers, T.J Morgan and his wife Lois, Bobby Morgan and his wife Connie; sisters, Annie Cox and Geraldine White; numerous nieces , nephews, and other releatives.
