Illness is Fatal to Mrs. J. J. Bochanyin

Dorchester – Funeral services for Mrs. John J. Bochanyin, who died at the Medford Hospital of a heart ailment Tuesday, be conducted Saturday at 9:20 at St Thomas' Catholic Church, Milan. The Rev. Jacob Burgraf will officiate at the Requiem High Mass and burial will be in the Milan cemetery.

A rosary service will be held at 9 a.m. at the Bochanyin home, where the body is reposing.

Mrs. Bochanyin, who was 47, had been confined to her bed by illness since last November, and on Sunday had been taken to the Medford Hospital, there she gave birth to healthy twin sons later in the day.

Elida Hall was born July 5 1904, in Johnstown Center, Rock County, where she was reared, attending schools there, and the Rock County Normal School at Janesville. Her father died when she was six months old, and she lost her mother at the age of eight years. An uncle, Otis. B. Hall, Milton Junction, took her and orphaned brother and sisters into his home and reared them as his own family.

After her normal school training she taught school in Rock and Marathon Counties, and on June 12, 1923, was married to John J. Bochanyin at Rockford, Ill.

Immediately after their marriage the couple moved to the farm in the Town of Holton which had been her home ever since. She was a member of the Altar Society of St. Thomas Catholic Church.

Surviving are her widower; seven children, Mrs. Jack (Betty) White Chicago, Ill.; Stanley, Joanne, Curtis, Karen and the newborn twins, all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph C. Weber, Dorchester and Mrs. Joseph Christie, Chetek; and one brother, Frank G. Hall, Durham, N. C.
