March 13, 1973 - April 11, 2014

On Friday, April 11 Heather lost her battle with cancer at her residence in Newark, DE. She left this life peacefully surrounded by her loving husband, family and friends. She
is survived by her husband of 15 years, William M. White; parents Cheryl and Don Starker of Newark; sisters, Brandi (Alan) Kendrick of Mississippi and Michelle Falco of Newark; godson, Teigan P. Norris, whom she loved dearly; in-
laws Danny and Thelma Lathem of Laurel; William White of Newark: brother-in-law, John R. White of Newark, nephew Matthew Few and Candace Kendrick. Heather was preceeded in death by her brother, Jason Christopher Foley. Both children Shared the same birthday.

Heather enjoyed fishing, entertaining, computer games,candle making and her English Mastiffs. She was a board certified optician and enjoyed her employment and employees as a district manager for National Vision in Grand Rapids, MI. She returned home to Delaware in the end stages of her illness to be with her family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 6 pm. to 8 pm. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720 or the SPCA, 455 Stanton-Christiana Road, Newark, DE 19713.

I want to thank Robert Duran for sponsoring my daughters memorial page. Now this kind gentle, man is watching over my son and daughter. I am so blessed to have a friend like him in my life. Strangers cross paths for a reason. I'm glad ours did.

Gravesite Details

Her ashes are mixed in the soil of a new oak tree in a park. A memorial plaque is under the tree.
