Born in Logan County, Mr. Armintrout was the son of Charles and Arvilla Stollard Armintrout.

A retired grocer, Mr. Armintrout was a member of the Middletown Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Nena; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Boesdorfer, of Pleasant Plains; Mrs. Evelyn Ouellette, of Springfield; one son, Cecil, of Vienna, Va.; one brother, Floyd, of New Holland; one sister, Mrs. Leota Boward, of Middletown; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were at Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral HOme.

Burial was in Irish Grove Cemetery.
