Ellis Armintrout, age 76, after a long and courageous illness was called home to be with our Lord Jesus on April 19, 2005 surrounded by his entire family. Veteran U.S. Navy. He was a member of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, Miraculous Medal Council 11188; a 53 years member of the IBEW, Local 683 and American Legion Post 254. Preceded in death by his son, Randy; mother, Lillie Jackson, father, Ellis Armintrout and step-father, Ed Jackson. Survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Jean C. Spires Armintrout; daughters, Karen (Steve) Jacklin, Mary (Greg) Mills and Michelle (Jeff) Honeycutt; sons, Michael (Jim Rider) Armintrout, Mark (Tammy) Armintrout, Gregory (Bonnie) Armintrout and Robert (Vickie Day) Armintrout; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn (Chuck) Hurst, Dorene Thrasher and Janice Baily. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2005 at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church, 5225 Refugee Rd. Rev. Fr. William H. DeVille, Celebrant. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday with Prayer Service at 7 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, Ohio. Those who wish may contribute to Mt. Carmel Hospice or the Charity of your choice in his memory. Special thanks to Fr. DeVille, Deacon Joe Poland, Fr. Ogurchock and all the wonderful People from Mt. Carmel Hospice for all the love and support.
