Gary Adamson, son of the late Floyd and Dorothy Lee Lambert Adamson, was born in Chicago, Ill. on December 18, 1950, and died at Three Rivers Healthcare Facility in Poplar Bluff, on June 30, 2002 at the age of 51. Mr. Adamson had lived in Chicago, Ill. for many years and in Dexter the past 10 years, he had worked as a mechanic. Surviving are one daughter: Cari Ann Adamson of Chicago, Ill., one brother; Jimmie Adamson serving in the United States Air Force, one sister; Mary Ann Nicholson of Kansas City, a special friend and caregiver, Martha Boyles of Dexter. Visitation was held today Wednesday, July 3, at 11 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter, officiating. Interment followed in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, with Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
