James F. Adams, of 868 Seventeenth street, died at 1 o'clock yesterday morning at the Altoona VA hospital. He was born in New Jersey Sept. 3, 1890, a son of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Adams, and was employed as a machinist in the East Altoona roundhouse.

A veteran of World War I, he is survived by his wife, Georgianna (Wise) Adams; six daughters, Mrs. Howard Eberlin of Sonestown, Mrs. Mary Kepp of Altoona, Mrs. Clara Wasakiewicz of Pittsburgh, Mrs. John Rine of Muncy Valley and Misses Rebecca and Margaret, at home; one brother and two sisters. Levi, in California, Mrs. Gertrude Bolton of Camden, NJ and Mrs. Margaret Bolton of Lancaster.

Friends are being received at the Laughlin funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
