Jean worked as a waitress for the former Chickadee Restaurant for many years and was most recently a waitress at the Brick Oven Restaurant in Ashaway.
She loved to travel, was a member of two bowling leagues at Alley Katz for summer and winter and an avid reader, knitter and card player. Jean also loved to photograph her family and especially her grandchildren. Although being a waitress was the highlight of her life because she enjoyed the friends and relationships that developed from it, she will be remembered for how she cherished her grandchildren. Prior to passing, Mrs. Cadorette asked to mention her quote, “Being a grandmother was a beautiful blessing from God”.
She leaves two daughters, five grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters; nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by a sister, Olive G. Chellis and by “Uncle George”.
