DARDANELLE — James Willison Adams, 69, of Dardanelle died Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, at his home.
He was born Oct. 7, 1939, at Dardanelle to Evert Lawrence and Ocie Lee Carlile Adams. He was an Army veteran and of the Assembly of God faith. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Betty Sue Wallace Adams of Dardanelle; daughters and son-in-law, Kim and Clinton Stone of Dardanelle, and Kaylen Adams of Dardanelle; grandson, Scottie Stone of Pottsville; granddaughters, Tanya Price and husband, Rocky, of Roland, Okla., and Tonya Knapp and husband, Gary, of Virginia Beach, Va.; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. today at Brearley Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home.
