MRS. ART AHRENDSEN - WYOMING
Funeral services for Mrs. Art Ahrendsen, 65, were held May 2 at Hayden funeral home. The Rev. Thodore Neely officiated. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.
Mrs. Ahrendsen died April 29 in Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids. She was born Aug. 27, 1902 near Oxford Jct., the daughter of Henry and Anna Petersen Carstensen. She attended school at Clarence.
On March 24, 1927, she was married to Arthur Ahrendsen. They farmed near Clarence for five years before moving to a farm wet of Wyoming. They retired in 1966 and moved to Wyoming.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Leo of Clarence and Lyle of Wyoming; 10 grandchildren, and two sisters, Hilda and Elsie Carstensen of Wyoming.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one daughter.
Pallbearers were Raymond Dusanek, Herman Carstensen, Hans H. Petersen, Marvin Petersen, John Carstensen and Carl Seehusen
