Roxiann B. Adeline passed away on March 28, 2016 at Chandler House in Yakima.

Roxiann was born on July 2, 1929 to Paul A. and Mildred J. Bundy in Knoxville, Iowa. She moved to the Tri-Cities in 1943 where her parents were employed on the Manhattan Project. She graduated from Pasco High School in 1947. Roxiann enrolled at Central Washington College of Education (CWU) where she met her husband to be, Antonio (Tony) R. Adeline. They married on October 15, 1949 in Richland, Washington.

After living for two years in Ellensburg, Tony and Roxiann moved to Richland where they resided for nearly forty years. During that time, Roxiann spent several years employed by Richland High School as a lay reader of student term papers. After her children were grown, she was employed by Hanford contractors, including thirteen years as a payroll accountant for Washington Public Power Supply System. While in Richland, she also found time to volunteer at Kadlec Hospital where she proudly logged over 2,000 hours of service.

After retiring, Roxiann and Tony moved to Yakima to be closer to family. For several years, Roxiann volunteered at the Yakima Valley Museum and Yakima Regional Hospital.

Roxiann and Tony enjoyed traveling. This included numerous trips in the Northwest as well as to other countries. When asked about her travels, she would reply: "We have visited all seven continents, over 50 countries, most of the states in the United States and most of the provinces in Canada." Trips to Hawaii were almost yearly events after retirement, while Orcas Island was the annual destination while their children were growing up.

Besides her husband of 66 years, Roxiann is survived by her two children, Nancy Lynn (Kyle) Welsch, of Yakima, and Robert Paul (Judy) Adeline of Mount Vernon, Washington. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Amy (Chad) Young, Emily Welsch, Joel (Cali) Adeline, and Rachel Adeline, and one great grandson, Hayden Young.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Yakima Valley Museum or the charity of one's choice.

Funeral will be held at Noon on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Shaw & Sons Funeral Directors. Interment to follow in Terrace Heights Memorial Park, Yakima. To share condolences or a story with Roxiann's family please visit www.shawandsons.com.
