Lonnie W. Agan, 62, of Villa Grove died at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday (May 21, 2014) at the Veterans Affairs Illiana Health Care System in Danville.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at Joines Funeral Home, Illinois Route 130 South, Villa Grove, with the Rev. Jerry Conners officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from noon until service time at 2 p.m. Burial with military rites by the Villa Grove VFW Post 2876 will be in the Embarrass Cemetery, rural Redmon.

Mr. Agan was born March 12, 1952, at Paris, Ill., a son of James and Cora (Johnson) Agan. They both survive in Villa Grove.

Also surviving are one daughter, Jackie Agan of Peoria, Ariz.; one brother, Jerry Agan of Orlando, Fla.; and a granddaughter, Allison.

Mr. Agan was a veteran of the U.S. Army who served in Germany. He worked several odd jobs in the area.
