Nora Blanche Aaron, 102, of Hoopeston passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Heritage Health in Hoopeston.

Nora was born September 4, 1911 in Wayne City, the daughter of George and Etta Sexton Richardson and they preceded her in death in addition to three daughters, Shirley O’Neal, Norma Pierce and Nancy Newton; one son, Allen Gene Foster; one brother, Paris Richardson; and three sisters, Flossie Kittle, Irma Richardson and Thelma Epperson. She married Allen Foster on December 20, 1930 in Rantoul and he preceded her in death on January 30, 1970. She married Wilbert Aaron in October 1947 and he preceded her in death on June 7, 1989.

She is survived by one son, Douglas (Charlene) Aaron of Framingham, MA; one sister, Lesbia Heffron; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Aaron was a member of the Baptist Church of Wayne City, IL. She enjoyed making doll clothes and quilting.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Knapp Funeral Home in Rankin. Rev. Janet Longtin will officiate. Burial will be in the Rankin Union Cemetery.
