Buried next to James Lee (Leander) Douglass. From what I have found Claretta was born in Elmira, NY. Her biological parents may have been Willeman and Bella Brown. Claretta and her sister came west on the now infamous "orphan train". Claretta was placed with several people in Nebraska who were not very nice to her. She was then placed with a women named Mrs. Carmen who treated her well. She married James Leander Douglass and was mother to two children - John Ed Douglass and Donna Lee Douglass (Donna is deceased). I don't know if she ever saw her sister again. Claretta is dearly loved by her children and grandchildren.
