A lifelong resident of Charleston, Mrs. Lottie Smith England, 61, of 1401 Jackson St., died yesterday at her home after a long illness.

Mrs. England was a member of St. Marks Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Ellis; a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Ross of Charleston; three sisters, Mrs. Neavah Bacon and Mrs. Hazel Newland of Charleston and Mrs. Edith Ellis of Miami, Fla., and three brothers, W. L. Smith of Coral Gables, Fla., Earl and Elliott Smith of Charleston.

Services will be held tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. in Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home by the Rev. Billy Reed Wickline. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

The body is at the funeral home where friends may call.
