Catherine Elizabeth Boehner 84, of Springfield died at 6:25 a.m. Sunday at Memorial Medical Center.
She was born in Pana, the daughter of Henry P. and Mary E. Robison Schafer. She married John Frederick Boehner Sr. in 1928. He died in 1985. A resident of Springfield most of her life, Mrs. Boehner was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two sons, John F. Jr. of Sarasota, Fla., and Raymond H. of Springfield; one daughter, Mrs. David (Kathleen) Kinner of Sherman; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Loretta Fremer of Hinsdale; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wilson Park Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Michael Strong officiating. Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery.
