OBIT: Mrs. Maude Shear Allen, 84, of Allen Road, Minford Route 1, Died Friday, September 5, 1980, at Mercy Hospital. A native of Scioto County, she is survived by her husband, Everett; Four sons, Orville of Columbus; Eugene of New Orleans, La.; Cliffordof North Hampton and Elmer of Rigrish Addition, Sciotoville Rt. 2; Three daughters, Mrs Lovelle Kronk of Springfield; Mrs Doris Whittaker, of North Moreland and Opal Murphy of Swager Valley Rd., Sciotoville; three brothers, Henry and Orman Shear, both of Minford, and Harold Shear, of Cove; two sisters, Mae Downing of Minford and Mary Cochran of Oak Hill Rt. 2; 22 grandchildrenand 27 great- grandchildren.
Services are planned at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Brant Funeral Home in Sciotoville, with Rev. Ed Beasler officiating, and interment in Scioto Burial Park. No visitation is planned.
