VALE – Alice Lorraine Moore Beam, 80, of 479 Howards Creek Mill Road, died Oct. 9, 2002. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church where she was a member. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 5:30 until 7 at E.F. Drum Funeral Home. Born in Baden, she was an inspector for Annbern Sportswear, a member of the AARP, and a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Theodore Lewis Beam; two daughters, Zelda Beam Lovelace and Aleta Beam Watts, both of Vale; two brothers, Vernon Moore of Charlotte and Rodney Black of Crouse; two grandchildren, Eric Dale Brittain, and Dakota Danille Watts; and one great-grandchild.
