The death of Mrs. Elizabeth Hoke
Brockway occurred at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. William H. Clinton, on
Hill street, last Friday afternoon. She
was born on Hickory Grove farm in the
town of Springfield, of German parents,
and was in her ninety-first year. She
was a member of the Baptist church.
Mrs. Brockway is survived by two
daughters, Mrs. John D. Bolton of Oaksville,
Mrs. William H. Clinton, and a
number of grandchildren and great
grandchildren'; The funeral was held at
2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, the Rev
Ralph Birdsall of Christ church officiating.
Interment in Lakewood cemetery.
