Mowsha died in Dvinsk (Now Daugvapils) prior to WWI. As is the case, Jewish Cemeteries were desecrated in the rise of anti semitism in the region leading up to the Second World War, and following that war under communist controlled era. Specialists in Jewish genealogy for the area confirm that most Jewish graves were desecrated, and that two of three jewish cemeteries were wiped from earth and their head stones taken for landfill in several communist building projects. Every effort has been made to find his grave, yet all we know is that he died where he lived, and the trail goes cold.
