Linda Beryle (Snorf) Carrick passed away June 27, 2010 at home, surrounded by her family after a lengthy battle with emphysema and lung cancer. Linda was born December 16, 1947 to Burl E. and Mary Snorf, (nee Meyer), Knapp. She was a 1966 graduate of Brimley High School.
Linda was an avid sports fan following the Oakland Raiders and Detroit Red Wings. She loved perch fishing in the Brimley Back Bay and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and extended family and friends.
Linda is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ron Carrick Sr., children: Karen Carrick (John) and Ron Jr. (Rennel) Carrick, 6 grandchildren: Renae, Anna, RJ, and Dylan Carrick, and John W. and Kathlin Hutchinson of Brimley, sisters Patricia and John Harrison of Richland, Michigan, Jody and Dennis Harrison of Rapid River, Michigan, and three stepsisters Glenna, Skip, and Louise, Mother-in-law Agnes Carrick of Brimley, Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Don and the late Ellen Carrick, Wanda and Mike Perron, Cheryl and Ray Baragwanath, Levi and Millie Carrick, Justin and Karen Carrick, Joe and Patti Carrick, Paula Carrick, Terry and Sue Carrick, Marcia and Tom Malloy, Twyla and Norm Ball, Lynn Carrick (Renee Pilcher) all of Brimley and the late Dale Carrick Sr. and Linda of Willis, Michigan. Linda is also survived by 57 nieces and nephews, 104 great nieces and nephews, and 2 great-great nieces and nephews, and special friends Doc and Marcia Ladd of Brimley, Mary , Laura and Melissa.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Burl Snorf and Mary Knapp, Stepfather Glenn Knapp, Father-in-law Levi Carrick and Sister-in-law Joyce McKiddie.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday July 1 at Blessed Kateri
Tekakwitha Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 1
At Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church with Father Ted Brodeur as Celebrant. Burial will be at Mission Hill Cemetery. The family would appreciate memorials to the Hospice of the E.U.P. the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association. Clark Bailey Newhouse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
