Danish Actor. Ole Ernst Pedersen born in Copenhagen appeared in 95 films and television shows from 1967 till his death. He graduated from Odense Teater in 1967. Ernst was a member of the Royal Danish Theatre from 1970 till 1986. In 1974 he became a cast member in the Olsen Gang Films. His role of Police Inspector Henning Holm get him public outside of Denmark. The crosstalks between Holm and disenchanted Superintendent of police Jensen, alias Axel Strøbye, about the useless of fight against crime became legendary. The actor died in his sleep on September 1 in Copenhagen, aged 73.
