Robert died from injuries after being pinned beneath an antique tractor that rolled over on him at Olmstead Place State Park. Kittitas County Sheriff's Office Undersheriff Clayton Myers identified him, saying he was from Presidio, Texas. Myers said in a news release the accident occurred shortly before 2 p.m. as Robert was attempting to pull a stuck forklift with an early 1950s Farmall Model H. tractor. The tractor rolled, pinning him. He died at the scene, Myers said. The accident occurred as he and his wife were preparing for a weekend threshing bee at the park, four miles east of Ellensburg.
