Ollie M. Thomas, 87, died Thursday, June 1, 1995 at Fir Lane Convalescent Center, Shelton, Washington.

She was born June 12, 1907 to John and Mary (Case) Melton at Bradleyville, Missouri. She married Eugene Thomas August 28, 1925 in Yakima, Washington. They lived in Missouri, Yakima, Hoquiam, WA, and Shelton, WA. While in Yakima she was a fruit packer for Congdon Orchard for 15 years. As a fruit packer her work was fast and high quality. She enjoyed gardening, rug making, quilting, crocheting, fishing, car rides in the mountains, camping, and collecting antiques.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene Thomas of Shelton, WA.; 2 sons, Vernon Thomas of West Richmond, WA. and Barry Thomas of Tacoma, WA.; 2 daughters, Pauline Kennedy of Shelton, WA. and Maxine Yeager of Puyallup, WA.; 1 brother Chawley Melton of Ahtanum, WA.; 1 sister Oma Thomas of Yakima, WA.; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services were help Monday June 5, 1995 at McComb Funeral Home, Shelton. Grave side service will be (Today) Tuesday June 6, 1995 at 1:00 PM at the West Hills Memorial Park in Yakima, Wa.
