Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct 20, for Mrs. Margie D. Adkins at the First Baptist Church, Danigerfield, with Revs. Virgil Fielden and G. R. Dickerson officiating. Interment was in the Daingerfield Cemetery under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
Mrs. Adkins was born March 5, 1923 in Texas and died Oct. 18, in Daingerfield. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church, Daingerfield, a former employee of McKellar Dept. Store and had lived in Daingerfield since 1953.
She is survived by two daughters: Rita and Maurice Tigert, Daingerfield and Barbara and James Lee of Lone Star; three brothers, Roy....
