BALHEIM, MRS. MINNIE McNEAL ~ Mrs. Minnie McNeal Balheim, widow of L. R. Balheim, whose death occurred Feb. 4, died Sunday afternoon at the family home on South Walnut street. Mrs. Balheim was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. McNeal and was born at Cove Springs August 24, 1868. The family removed to Troy and the daughter attended the public schools, graduating from the high school in 1887. For eight years she devoted herself to teaching. Sept. 7, 1892, she was married to L. R. Balheim, who died only two weeks ago. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. One daughter, Miss Bernice, survives this double affliction. The funeral was held from the residence Tuesday afternoon and was conducted by the Rev. J. W. Clokey. Interment was made at Riverside.
