She attended Victory Baptist Church in Providence. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Alderson.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty Jean McChesney of Providence; one son, Robert Alderson of Gastonia, N.C.; two brothers, Vernon Sigler and Genie Sigler, both of Indiana; 13 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Jones & Erdman Funeral and Cremation Service in Providence. Pastor Andy Corbin will officiate. Interment will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Crittenden County.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
